We last updated you on refuge in production during winter, spring and fall of 2022 — and we are delighted that refuge launched its World Premiere at the Festival of International Films on Art in Montreal (FIFA) on March 21, 2024 as part of the Nuit de la danse curated program.
We were also excited to delve into FIFA Connexions — a vital space for arts and cultural professionals to participate in panel roundtables, women in leadership workshop, learn in tandem with our québécois and international counterparts about challenges and successes in our digital ecosystem. Days were devoted to our networking with festival decision-makers, and glean from other digital platform leaders + innovators on topical issues that impact our media arts sector. Conversation, collaboration and inspiration unfolded.
